Take A Break Cafe Reviews
The food was delicious and our server was amazing! I had the senior breakfast with french toast, which I'm going to have again. Can't wait to visit again!
Great hospitality and great coffee! Just off the highway before going over either mountain pass. Safe bet! Great food!
Found this Cafe by accident due to wa.dot.gov construction on the Vantage bridge, when en route to Spokane. Have been here multiple times since, every time, the staff is friendly (even the new guy) and the food is awesome. Regardless if breakfast or lunch meal (BLT) the bacon is cooked to perfection. We make it a point to visit every time we make the drive over the pass eve with the added travel time.
New owners awesome food lots of food good prices polite people definitely a place to go for breakfast. If you want hot salsa ask for hot block mild do not ask for hot because it is not mild it is very hot
The best thing about Take A Break Cafe is their attention to detail! Ordering on the phone can often end in disaster but not the case at Take A Break Cafe! The order is hot and appropriately packed for travel...and the order is always EXACTLY what we ordered! The employees are efficient and always ask if we need extra anything... If you have the chance to take a seat at Take A Break Cafe you will undoubtedly be relaxed and leave with a smile. The employees are happy and relaxed and the positivity is contagious!
What a wonderful hidden gem! Our waiter was wonderful and so was all the staff. We got there shortly after they opened for breakfast and everything was beautiful and tasted great! My boyfriend got the Farmers Scramble and it was amazing. And I got a Veggie Omelette and it was so yummy!
I admit that I am hesitant to share this gem of a diner. Food is great with all the breakfast options. Open til 3. We each had bisquits and gravy then split a side of hashbrowns. I had a 'full' order of 2 bisquits and it was plenty...delicious so we ate every bit! Staff is super nice. Give them a try and 'Take a Break', just don't tell too many people...lol (Sorry, was so excited to eat, I forgot to take a pic) Full b&g, 1/2 order b&g, side of hashbrowns plus 2 coffee's = $27. Supporting local business = Priceless
Best place for any meal of the day. Amazing food choices, and a great price. Don't sleep on take a break! Your favorite hole in the wall restaurant. Victor and Edgar are incredible humans and have a real passion for what they do.
Stopped by Take a Break Café in Dryden on the way to Mission Ridge Ski Resort, and it was exactly what we needed before hitting the slopes! This place has a warm, cozy diner vibe--perfect for a relaxing brunch. The Eggs Benedict was on point--perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise, and a nice balance of flavors. The rest of the menu had classic diner favorites, all made with care. Service was exceptionally friendly--the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. It's the kind of place where you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. If you're passing through Dryden, this spot is a must for a great meal and a friendly atmosphere.
